Begin of August 2020, after so many months of engineering and preparations, the time is here. After the Covid test and isolation for 2 days in a hotel, it is time to start a new chapter in the careers of many. Facing a period of controlled chaos, more rules and regulations as we already had before, new equipment, new people and new challenges. Boarding the biggest vessel we have ever worked on, it was easy to start. A year ago, we used this vessel and crew for a different project. It was like coming home, seeing our co-workers again after a long time. Both sides more experienced, and both sides also different experiences gained in that year. That is good, as we are on the forefront of a new chapter in this industry, we going to test what never is done before. A challenge again, a bigger challenge then ever before. If i am excited? Yes and No. I do not want to miss it for a minute, but it will be hard days of work.
